This year our Sirney Family Mini-Reunion was held in Pittsburg, PA, October 17-19. This was a get together of all the cousins in the 3rd generation of the Sirney Family. (That would be the cousins who are my age or there abouts!) Tragically, the week of the reunion our Uncle Matt had a tractor accident on the Hawkin's farm and died. The reunion turned out to be "bitter sweet" as we remembered Uncle Matt, Aunt Millie and Uncle Jack who have all passed away in recent months. I think it made the time together that much more special! We started out Friday night at the Hawkin's farm. It was beautiful and the leaves were in all their glory. Ellen, Peggy, Elizabeth and Jane welcomed us all with open arms. It reminded me of when all of our parents would get together and sit around the Hawkin's dinning room table and talk and eat! I guess we are carrying on the tradition!

Peggy & Ellen modeling the silk maternity tops our mothers all wore when they were pregnant with us. Aunt Betty brought them back from China. They sure don't look like maternity tops!

We owe the Hawkin's and Sirney Families a "heartfelt" Thank You for making this such a meaningful mini-reunion. We have all made a memory!
